Dalam bocoran ponsel BlackBerry yang akan meramaikan tahun 2011 . Terlihat ada BlackBerry Dakota, BlackBerry Apollo, dan salah satunya adalah BlackBerry Torch 2. Belum lama ini berdasarkan dokumen UAProf yang ditemukan online juga mengkonfirmasi keberadaan ponsel BlackBerry Torch 2 alias BlackBerry 9810.

Ponsel ini masih memiliki resolusi layar yang sama dari Torch pertama, yaitu 480x640. Beberapa spesifikasi lain mengenai BlackBerry Torch 2 yang dirumorkan adalah:

RIM Hits India's Email Demands

NEW DELHI—A top executive of BlackBerry-maker Research in Motion Ltd. said Indian security agencies are making "rather astonishing" demands for increased powers to monitor email and other data traffic, raising serious privacy issues that threaten to harm the country's reputation with foreign investors.

Robert Crow, vice president of industry and government relations for RIM, said India's Home Ministry, which oversees domestic security, wants the ability to intercept in real time any communication on any Indian network—including BlackBerry's highly secure corporate-email service—and get it in readable, plain-text format.

Such a broad requirement raises the question of whether the government believes any communications are legally off-limits, he said, including email conversations of foreign ambassadors and financial records that get transmitted over secure telecommunications networks to Indian outsourcing companies.

"You connect those dots and you're saying, 'Holy smokes,' " Mr. Crow said during an interview. "This claim is made in an environment where we don't really have any privacy- or data-protection laws—and where we have a pretty poor administrative record of keeping similar things like wiretaps secret."
A spokesman for India's Home Ministry declined to comment. Government officials in India have previously said they want to ensure suspected terrorists and criminals can't elude government surveillance by using newfangled communications technologies. Under current Indian law, the home secretary—the top bureaucrat in the Home Ministry—authorizes all telecom surveillance by central-government agencies for 60 days at a time.

For several months, RIM has faced demands from India to give security agencies a way to access encrypted messages on BlackBerry's corporate-email service. BlackBerry has repeatedly said its system is designed so that it doesn't have the "keys" to unlock users' messages—and it has refused to change its technology architecture in any one of the 175 countries where it offers service.

Mr. Crow said he is heartened, at least, that India no longer appears to be singling out RIM. India has realized, he said, that other advanced services—such as virtual private networks, or VPNs, and peer-to-peer messaging services, are outside its surveillance reach.

Nokia Tests Consumer Email Monitoring

It isn't clear whether the Indian government has set any firm deadline for when it should gain access to BlackBerry corporate-email and other services and whether it would take the drastic measure of shutting down services that aren't compliant. Indian media reports have said the government has told Indian telecom operators to submit plans by March 31 showing how they would accommodate security agencies' demands. But the government has made no announcement to that effect.

Mr. Crow said he is optimistic that India's telecom ministry, which is beginning to assert more authority on the matter, will have a better understanding of the technological constraints RIM faces and will find a solution to the issue that doesn't require BlackBerry to compromise user privacy. A telecom-ministry spokesman declined to comment.

But Mr. Crow said he expects talks with India to drag on, given the inherent delays in the country's democracy and the lack of well-defined regulations on data protection and privacy.

"I think this may well go on and on in India, and frankly it will be one of those factors that people talk about in the Indian business environment—not one that will be seen in India's favor in international comparison," Mr. Crow said.

BlackBerry, which touts the highly secure nature of its email service as a key selling point globally, has faced intensifying demands from foreign governments for access to the service in recent months. The stakes in India are especially high, given that the country has more than 770 million wireless subscribers who are just beginning to shift from ordinary phones to smartphones such as BlackBerrys.

Mr. Crow said he has proposed ways for Indian intelligence and security agencies to advance investigations without gaining access to the actual content of encrypted BlackBerry email messages. He said telecom operators can glean so-called meta data about messages, such as the time messages were sent, and the corporate-email server they went through.

"If that pattern of communications were known to the authorities on lawful grounds," Mr. Crow said, "then the authorities would be in a position to go to the correct corporate entity that owns the server" and pursue their investigation of a suspect.

In January, RIM resolved India's security concerns with the BlackBerry Messenger chat service, which uses a lower level of encryption than corporate email. The company gave Indian telecom operators a system that lets them key in a suspect's phone number and get unscrambled versions of Messenger chats, when a legal order has been provided, Mr. Crow said.

Mr. Crow said RIM is "kicking the tires" on potential plans to expand in India, where it already has a data center and where about 11,000 software developers are making programs to run on BlackBerrys. One possibility down the line is for India to manufacture some of the several thousand parts that go into a BlackBerry.

"There's a heck of a lot of demand [for BlackBerrys] within three to four hours flight of most of the manufacturing places in India, including India itself," he said.

Beware: ZeuS Trojan Stealthily Targets your BlackBerry

Research In Motion’s BlackBerry OS has been virtually impossible to exploit, which has allowed it to become world renown for its security. However, according to TrendMicro, there is a new attack specifically targeting BlackBerry’s SMS feature.

“The ZeuS malware specifically targeting the BlackBerry OS is currently detected as BBOS_ZITMO.B. Just like its desktop counterpart, this ZeuS variant does not display any graphical user interface (GUI) that can prompt users about the infection. Instead, it removes itself from the list of applications, in order to effectively stay under the radar.”

Once the ZeuS trojan has been successfully installed it sends a confirmation notice to the administrator that it is ready for more commands, as shown by the image above. BBOS_ZITMO.B also lets the admin change it’s forwarding number using SMS, in the event the original number were to get tracked and deleted.

According to analysis, the ZeuS Trojan is capable of carrying out the following commands:

* Display SMS: Unmonitored SMS will be treated as a normal SMS and will be displayed on the phone.
* Delete/Drop SMS: SMS from hacker will not be seen by the user.
* Forward SMS: Send SMS to hacker without the user’s knowledge.
* Block Calls
* Remove Block Calls
* Set Administrator: Register a new administrator.
* On/Off
* Add Sender
* Remove Sender
* Set Sender
* Block/Unblock Phone Numbers

It will be interesting to see if the ZeuS Trojan spreads wildly across BlackBerry devices. Do you think it could become an out of control problem? There is no mention of how exactly your BlackBerry could get affected – perhaps an infected app you download? We’re not sure. Nevertheless, if you like to prepare for the worst, before it happens, there is a free anti-virus app called Lookout. You can download this free software at here.

Proses ini akan menciptakan account Google yang dapat Anda gunakan pada layanan Google lainnya. Jika Anda sudah memiliki sebuah account Google mungkn dari Gmail, Google Groups, atau Orkut.

Satu account Google bisa digunakan untuk mengakses semua fasilitas yang disediakan oleh Google.

Jika Anda sudah memiliki accout google, Anda bisa langsung login (masuk). Untuk login ke Google, Anda harus login dengan menggunakan alamat email.

Silahkan lengkapi.

1. Alamat email yang Anda masukan harus sudah ada sebelumnya. Anda akan dikirim konfirmasi ke email tersebut. Jika Anda menggunakan email palsu atau email yang baru rencana akan dibuat, maka pendaftaran bisa gagal. Anda tidak perlu menggunakan email gmail.com. Email apa saja bisa.

2. Lengkapi data yang lainnya.

3. Tandai "Saya menerima Persyaratan dan Layanan" sebagai bukti bahwa Anda setuju. BTW Anda sudah membacanya?

Setelah lengkap, klik tanda panah yang bertuliskan lanjutkan.

Langkah 3: Membuat Blog 

Memilih Nama Blog dan URL Blog

Jika Anda berhasil, Anda akan dibawa ke halaman seperti pada gambar dibawah. Jika gagal? Gagal biasanya karena verifikasi kata Anda salah. Itu wajar karena sering kali verifikasi kata sulit dibaca. Yang sabar saja, ulangi sampai benar. Saya sendiri sampai mengulang 3X.

Setelah Anda berhasil mendaftar, Anda akan dibawa ke halaman seperti yang ada pada gambar dibawah. Sekarang Anda mulai membuat blog dengan mengisi nama dan alamat blog Anda.

Sebagai contoh, saya menamakan blog tersebut dengan nama Hasna Zahidah. Sssst, jangan curiga, Hasna adalah putri saya. Saya memilih alamat blog dengan alamat http://hasna-zahidah.blogspot.com
sebagai alaternatif, bisa juga http://hasnazahidah.blogspot.com.

Jika Anda membuat lensa dengan tujuan mempromosikan produk Anda atau produk afiliasi, maka dalam memilih nama, harus berisi nama produk atau jasa yang akan Anda tawarkan. Misalnya jika Anda ingin menjual ebook saya, Anda bisa memilih kata kunci seperti motivasi, sukses, berpikir positif, dan kata-kata kunci lainnya yang sesuai.

Di dalam video diperlihatkan bagaimana ada dua orang designer yang mengaku bahwa mereka tidak bisa hidup tanpa Blackberry Messenger terinstall di dalam Blackberry Bold 9700 mereka.

Sepertinya Blackberry Messenger sudah menjadi gaya hidup hampir semua orang di dunia. Apalagi dengan adanya rencana RIM yang akan memberikan aplikasi Blackberry Messengernya untuk dapat digunakan melalui Android dan iOS. RIM juga telah menyatakan bahwa mereka akan membuat Blackberry Messenger menjadi sebuah Jejaring Sosial yang unik untuk para pengguna Smartphone Blackberry.

More BlackBerry PlayBook Features Confirmed – GPS Mass Storage Mode and More

At a PlayBook event yesterday RIM was showing of a little newer build (though nowhere near what they actually have internally) and I noticed some interesting things. Nothing mind blowing but for those with PlayBook envy like me every detail counts. For example, one of the things that always struck me about the PlayBook was the lack of a blinking LED notification. While that might not be necessary on the PlayBook I was always curious to see how you know their are notifications for you to address.

I happened to see this show up in our demo and as you can see the notification is shown by a slight red highlight in the top left corner. The notification went away before I had a chance to see how you view the notifications but it was simply trying to tell us it was running low on battery.

Here are some other things I noticed or had confirmed:

The BlackBerry PlayBook DEFINITELY includes a GPS built in along with an 6 way magnetometer for augmented reality apps. This will be a cool development. I tried digging through the PlayBook documented API’s and have not found anything about GPS yet…

I asked RIM how you will get video and music on and off the PlayBook and it looks like there will be two ways. There will be desktop manager which will allow you to copy over your music AND backup your device. You will also supposedly be able to mount your PlayBook storage drive and copy music, movies, and more kind of like how BlackBerrys currently work where it will ask you if you want to use USB mass storage mode.

The BlackBerry PlayBook Music app is sweet with some cool features that let you sort and find your music. Who knows it might just totally replace my BlackBerry smartphone for that.

RIM has really improved the touch input on the BlackBerry PlayBook compared to what they were showing at CES in January. The touch controls are very easy and do not require the same double tapping that we kind of needed to do then. Also gestures are super fluid.

I figured out how you put the device to hibernate mode to stop accidental touching. You simply tap the slightly small power button and it goes into sleep mode. Tap it again to wake it up. The device also has a screen saver mode where it simply turns off the screen and I found you could get off that mode by just swiping your finger on the screen.

Also interesting was that you can reboot the BlackBerry PlayBook simply by holding the power button. The demo device took about 30-40 seconds to reboot but that is supposedly even faster in later internal builds. Still rebooting will be far and in between since app installs do not require a reboot and potentially OS updates also do not require a reboot due to how QNX works.

Side loading of apps to a BlackBerry PlayBook from your computer will be possible. From what I could tell OTA installs will be limited to BlackBerry App World for now but who knows. Enterprise users will also have some way of provisioning apps on a device but I couldn’t get more info than that.

Need for Speed for PlayBook is awesome. It is a global setting if you want to allow apps to run in the background like a game or video when you switch apps. They have some fun names for the different modes but my picture of the different names came out fuzzy. :(

Email Notification Improvements
Previously, if you turned on email notifications using the Facebook.com website, then logged out and logged back into Facebook on your BlackBerry smartphone, your email notification settings would be turned off.

Now, with Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones 1.9.0.28, email notifications are left enabled if you change email notification settings using Facebook.com, then log out and log back in to Facebook on your BlackBerry smartphone.

Background Polling
Previously, if you set the background polling option to Never, then logged out and logged back into Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones, the polling setting would be set to 10 minutes instead of Never. This issue has been corrected so the background polling option will remain at the Never setting.

Photo Upload Freeze Fix
In the past, users may have seen their BlackBerry smartphone freeze when sending a photo to Facebook from the Media folder on their BlackBerry smartphone. This issue has been corrected by this maintenance release so no further freezing should occur.

Upgrading to the latest release

To upgrade to the latest release of Facebook on your BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps:

1. Open Facebook on your BlackBerry smartphone
2. Press the Menu key and select Options
3. Scroll down and select the option Check for Upgrade Now

If you currently do not have Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones and would like to install it, you can download it through BlackBerry App World on your BlackBerry smartphone.

BlackBerry PlayBook launching tanggal 10 April

Boy Genius Report mendapatkan bocoran bahwa Blackberry Playbook, tablet RIM pertama, akan diluncurkan pada tanggal 10 April di beberapa lokasi ritel.

JAKARTA -- PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL) kembali meluncurkan inovasi barunya, XL BlackBerry 3in1.
